Well, the Midwest just isn't doing it for us, so we decided to hit the road in search of debauchery, piracy, and corruption. Enjoy!

Day 1: Hitting the Road
15 hours in a way too small Jetta going way too fast we finally arrived in Denver at our friends, Jake and Maura's basement bungalow. Jake and Maura's home was a wonderful resting place for us, filled with happy light and energy. So glad we could start our trip off in such a positive way (and a great Aero-bed)!
Along the way we encountered fearless jaywalking wild birds, rude Verizoners, and plenty of storms. We made great time, mostly because of my (Martina's) red bull-fueled 90+ driving fury. We were part of large wolf park, comprised of over-sized,red-faced Midwestern SUV drivers, bound and determined to make it to their vacation destinations half an hour ahead of time.
Things we enjoyed seeing and doing today: sun setting over Denver, quaint Denver bungalows with creative landscapes, breathing difficulties resulting from evening jogs in the mile-high city, and father calling us every hour to ask about his baby (not us, his car)

Did you mention to your dad that his baby is doing great at 90 mph? ;-)
